When are dance classes for teens?
Technical acquisitions
For pre-teens ages 8 to 16:
Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Saturday from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Course designed to discover the foundations of different ballroom dances and discover among other things the actions, positions, rhythms and ways of holding oneself to dance the chacha, the waltz, the samba or the quick step and many other dances. Work first solo with technical and fun exercises will be offered in music so that young people can solidly build good automatisms for couple dancing.
Choreographic classes
For adolescents aged 8 to 16:
Wednesday from 5:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Course designed to dance solo and pair choreographies of ballroom dances (chacha, rumba, samba, pasodoble, jive, waltz, tango, slow fox, quick step, Viennese waltz) in a good mood. Corrections will be made to improve each person's dance, but the practice and joy of dancing will be highlighted.
Two courses built differently for:
- interest young people in competing in sports dance by joining the CDSP club attached to our dance school.
- offer them, after they turn 17, the opportunity to join adult courses at level 2 or 3 depending on their skills.
